MS3DALE Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 It use to be the PF59,But they discontinued it a couple years ago. I've heard of some guys using the PF61 in place of the PF59 (This would be for the '99-'06 model-years)

As I often tell the ole lady, Its not the size of the wand, its the magic in it that counts.
norsemanberg Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 I just stoped at napa and they crossed the PF59 and the PF61 to the NAPA Gold 1522
MS3DALE Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 I just stoped at napa and they crossed the PF59 and the PF61 to the NAPA Gold 1522 So you can use the PF61 in place of the PF59. The PF52 won't work, different thread size.
dlstewart01 Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 So I can use a PF 61 in place of PF 48? Don't think so. Different threads.
MS3DALE Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 So I can use a PF 61 in place of PF 48? Nope,Different thread size between the 61 and 48
Ron J Morgan Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Than is their a longer filter for the PF48 ?
dlstewart01 Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Than is their a longer filter for the PF48 ? Gm does many thousands of hours of testing when the engineers specified this filter, and with advances in filter design and media improvements, these small filters work better than you may think. I don't have a problem at all using them. Don
