hey all.

 

Im new to this site. i have a 06 silverado 2500HD with the 6.0 i love this truck. i had a 08 silverado 1500 but totaled it new years eve morning going to work. on my 06 when im at a stop light and hit the gas it feels like the trans is a little slugish off the start. is this normal?

everyone is ok. i went off the road and hit a pot hole and blow out my front passenger tire when i was turning in to a subdivision and it pulled me into a rock piller.

It should not be sluggish, but I am not sure if you are just feeling the torque mngt that is programed into these trucks. How many miles are on you rig? How is the fluid level? If all of that is good, I would tell you to get a tune. I got one when I had less than 1000 miles on my truck so I can't remember how the trans felt stock. I can tell you that right now with my tune the truck moves out. I have a tune from Charlie Wheatley, and it is great. Another tuner that has been getting good reviews is Blackbear. Something to look into. Hope this helps.

i think your right i am probably feeling torque mngt thing. and i messed up and put sluggish but i feel like a bump when i take off like a torque delay.
