i like to buy a 2008 or 2009 5,3 chevy silverado 4x4 ext cab.

but the problem is i want to bring it to switzerland.

what exactly means the fe9-federal certification emission code? (LEV low emission vehicle or SULEV super ultra low emission vehicle)?

i will need a sulev, because the very strong laws in switzerlands road traffic licensing department.

what emission code do i need to get a sulev silverado? it shows no more on the new vehicle emission labels were are locatet on the airfilterbox. why's that?

thank you for everyones help, gilbert

sorry about my bad english...

Someone correct me if i am wrong, but IIRC the SULEV are the gas/electric powered vehicles.

*edit* I think they are only 6.0L only

That looks like the sticker from a Flex-fuel...If you have Ethanol-mixed gas (E10-E85) then it won't produce as much emissions...So it MAY qualify as a "SULEV" emissions vehicle.
