Mehhh....it's a car

Just playin. I love the exterior. I am just not in love the interior of the new camaros. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have one. But I would take dad's 69 over it any day.

New Camaro doesn't do anything for me but then I have the real deal a 69 SS350 Vert in corvette yellow with the Z28 stripes.New taillites look like they also came off a vette. They also need a hideaway headlite on the RS version

I'd like to have one of those "new" 69 Camaro bodies that they are producing in steel now. Talk about a very cool way to build a street rod. Too bad they are higher than Giraffe P*ssy.

Yes, this would be a cool to do, but don't plan on it ever being worth anything. Collectors won't be interested. But as a driver, yes...way cool! I have thought about it.....

I have been "on the fence" between a new Camaro SS and a nice driver-quality 69 Camaro (both about the same price) for awhile now, but I think my decision will be made for me with a teen driver in the household. Pretty sure insurance on a new Camaro SS with a teen driver in the house would be astronomical, if not impossible.

Here is a one similar to what I am looking for, except I would really prefer a RS/SS with the retractable headlights (that never work :D ).

If there is one thing we both agree 100% on, it's the 69 Camaro. I wish my buddy in Chicago had not ever talked me into selling mine to him. It wasn't perfect but it was nice.

It was kinda old school and really needed a repaint but it was cool. I've kicked myself MANY times over that one.

I definately agree with you those cars will never be collectors. But for me, Who Cares. I am not interested in collecting at all. I want them built to drive.

I don't think there has been a car made that is much better looking than the 69 camaro. I will have one in my garage one of these days.

In fact, it will probably be this one...
