Decided to play around, everything was fine until I hit a sink hole. Construction site, must have been an old tree stump there or something. The carnage...

Had a neighbor pull me out, all in good fun.

I guess I need bigger tires and a lift if I'm gonna be stupid...

Just remember, the bigger you are the harder it is to get stuck.... BUT when you do get stuck it takes even more to get you out! It's never fun being the biggest truck out wheeling

Big AT tires are still AT tires, and all AT tires suck in the mud. :D

I beg to differ dan... oh wait, you never did go wheeling with me did you??

I think what you meant to say was "MT tires are obviously better than AT tires in mud, and NOTHING beats an astrodan with MTs"

+1 SERIOUS MTs AND lockers are the only way to play seriously in the mud.

RONNIEB... it does look like you had fun though. Part of the fun in life is being stupid at times.

Doesn't count, those tires were too wide to even sink into the mud. :D

I would first eliminate your road only tires. Those don't have enough void to get you through.

but If you really want to be able to run through it all then look at www.mattracks.com :uhoh:

I find myself stuck more with a bigger truck... I think it makes for more false confidence. BAM, stuck b/c you thought your lifted truck was unstoppable, lol

That's southern nj pine Barron wheeling.

When are we going man? I am ready! Dan wants to go too!

P.S. I have a crush on your old truck!

You guys tell me. I'll go whenever.... but im going as a ride-along now obviously since my truck is somewhere in Ohio. Plans are to find an old XJ to build a nice trail rig out of; but i wont be ready with that for a few more years at least :uhoh:

Sounds good to me. Maybe once the weather warms up a little. I would love to build something for wheeling too. I am house hunting now though. Once I get settled in, then it will start.

There's a thread about the pine barrens over on FSC, we're planning on something late March/early April last I heard. Maybe something the day before E-town? I kinda want to leave mud all over the track. :uhoh:
