I agree, I hate Day light savings time and wish it would stay on standard time. They say it will save energy but they are finding out it really uses more energy, more people home in the evenings during the summer equals more A/C usage due to daylight longer and more sun. I read on the net last night that Obama is thinking about leaving it on standard time all the time due to more power usage on Day light savings time.

I'm trying to figure out the point of time zones period.

I think it would be MUCH easier if the entire planet was on the same clock. GAWD it would be simple.

I hate standard time, gets dark too damn early. I always sleep through sunrise, so I don't notice it getting light an hour later during DST, but I like the extra hour of daylight at night.

I am not a photographer, and these are sunset pics, not sunrise pics. I took these in 2003 with a cheap point-n-shoot camera. I kinda like them.
