Titan Exhaust Air Jack

Has anyone seen this yet? Or better yet, any one have one? Seems doubtful that the vehicle's own exhaust could build up enough pressure to actually get this to work.

I couldn't even find a pic that has it hooked up to the exhaust. They all appear to be connected to a compressor.

Sold complete in a heavy duty storage bag along with two cones it comes with an air compressor adapter to fit almost all vehicles the Titan Exhaust Air Jack is small enough to be stored in your vehicle
.

I have seen one before in use, but it was on a car. It worked, but was actually a diff brand though.

Found this on YouTube. It looks similar, if not the same thing.

looks like a good idea, but not sure I would always trust it. I would hate to be changing a tire and have it come down.

Also what about DUAL EXHAUST  It will not work with duals.

I have seen similar units used by emergency rescue workers. Those are definitely hooked to an air compressor source.

Thats the only one I have seen too, until today.

I have seen them before, I dont think I would like to give my motor and exhaust system all that back pressure and blowing something out. Ya think if you brought the rpm up to about 6000 the car would flip over?

Could you imagine what the air would be like coming out of the bag after it was hooked up to a diesel? You would look like you were in a Stooges flick. :P

We use something very simular called a X-Jack off-roading. Its ten times better than that dinky little jack GM gives us, and unlike a good bottle jack it dosn't sink into the ground. I have a pipe plug that I use to block the other pipe on my LR3 that has duals. You can make fun of it but its alot safer and easier to use than the regular jacks.

Nice. I was not making fun of it by any means. I was curious if this actually worked on the vehicles exhaust. What I really want to use this for is either for my wife or for my horse trailers.

My wife runs a mail route, and I would like to make it as easy for it as possible for her to change a flat. It is dangerous as it is to change a tire on the side of the road now a days. No one has any respect to slow down at a motorist who is trying to do any type of road side maintenance.

Horse trailers are a pain to change a tire on , unloaded or loaded. Also the trailer's floors are low to give the horses ease in loading and unloading. Those drop axles give little or no room to get a jack underneath them. The only problem with the bags, is that I may need 2 or 3 to be able to handle the weight load.

I plan to install a compressor on the truck, so I will not be using the exhaust.

I'm skeptical of this.. but a quick search found some reviews.. they seem to be positive:

HOLY SHIT! any further and he might have flipped her! I could definatley see stupid people dying from this invention.... (Compressed gas+Bag) = > can you picture blowing up a baloon and then just letting it go?

Not to mention Carbon Monoxide poisoning.... I`d take an ignorant bottle jack over that any day of the week.

Using compressed air maybe...
