Lux Or Non-lux How Do I Find Out What I Have?

Isn't there an RPO code for it? what is it? i'm thinking about going with a stock Navi unit in the '03 but not sure if it's compatible. Also what wiring and antenna is needed to add it? I have stock Bose so i just want to know if it's possible basically.~Cole~

Unless you have a denali or escalade (Y91) you have a non-lux system.

omg that wrietup is a BIBLE. So what i'm getting is that i'd need a Antenna, H/U and wiring? Is it really that straight forward?

So long as you have the non lux Bose now and get a non lux radio (or lux to lux), it's a plug-n-play (you'll need the GPS antenna).

 

I added the TNR on my 05 YDXL and the hardest part was getting the dash and stuff off, I took my time and actually

spread it out over a weekend.

 

If you get a used radio, you might have to go to the dealer to get the theft lock taken care of.

Well my truck is an LS so i'm sure it's Non-Lux. So i'd need to get teh antenna and radio and that's it? That could be sweet. I also though of maybe just going aftermarket but we will see.
