OK, with all of the "Flavor of the month" Black Bear tuning that's been going on for the past year, let's see how many here have a tune and by whom.

It is a Hypertech Max Energy. However, you know what the following several posts will say:

 

 

"Hand Helds are a waste of money".

 

For me, it has done what I wanted it to do, helped my low end for towing.

Yeah, me too I want to re-gear mine before I get a BB tune. Should be this summer. He is only 2 hours away so I can go get one whenever. Although it would be nice to attend a meet. Not too many in my area though...

Another question that should be there is...If you plan on getting a tune. What flavor are you planning on picking?

 

 

 

I will stick with the Blackbear Koolaid as long as he can tune what ever truck I have.

I just don't drive it enough to warrant even taking a chance at voiding my warranty. I tow twice a year and it does just fine. The rest of the time it's more powerful than any other truck I have ever owned.

 

I really dislike lying and don't want to have to were something to go wrong in order to have the repairs covered. My conscience is worth more to me than a few extra ponies, I suppose.

 

That is NOT to say any of you are doing anything wrong. To each their own.
