What Do You Use Your Truck For?

Just curious as to what everyone's primary motivation was for buying a truck was.

I enjoy driving a truck...and I like being able to haul things should the need arise.

It's my daily driver, I use it to haul big heavy shit when the need arises, but the main reason I bought it initially was for hauling mountain bikes. Now, what I haul most often is music equipment. Not that heavy, but very space-consuming stuff, so anything other than a truck wouldn't work well. It's nice to be able to fit the whole band's stuff in the bed, plus the whole band in the truck (minus the drums).

I tried a car...hated it. It is my daily driver but it's been camping, hunting, and fishing in places where a car should never go. I haven't really hauled anything too heavy, just some a stack of flooring from Home Depot for about 70 miles. Nothing too big, I just like having the ability for it if and when it arises.

I used my truck for leisure, but quite a few times the back bed did come in handy for hauling some stuff.

When I had mine it was used as my DD. The bed was used every now and then for hauling things. But I really needed more interior space over bed space.

I live and work overseas and come home strictly for recreation. My truck exists for that purpose and I tow and haul for pleasure. If I was stateside full time I would still have a pick up. We a Japanese hybrid for around town chores, but not for serious transportation. I am embarrassed about owning a foreign car, but such is life.

Ain't ''E'' always used for ''all of the above'',maybe ''D'' is ''none of the above'' .My Burb is used for all of these,it don't mind a little dirt...inside or out.Sheets of plywood will fit..

Work. Since I have to drive a lot for work though, I guess it is a daily driver too.
