I have a 5.3 with the 4l60e ive heard its no good is this true? if so wut trans is the one to go with? and are the rearends any good in these trucks?

Depends how hard you are on your vehicle, anything can be broken. My 2000 5.3L EXT 4x4 service truck has 250000 + miles and just had the trans rebuilt, thats the first internal repair on the truck.

No they aren't bad transmissions. Again, anything can be broken. The 4L70e is just an upgraded internals of the 4L60e.
