Engine No Start

HAVE A 2001 SIERRA WITH 5.3L, TRUCK WAS RUNNING GOOD, HAD 1NSTRUMENT CLUSTER OUT AND WHEN I PUT BACK TOGETHER ENGINE ATTEMPTS TO START BUT THEN JUST CRANKS?

Check all fuses.

 

If that does not work, pull instrument cluster back out and look for loose connections.

 

What did you do to the instrument cluster? Did you do anything electrical?

Not sure if this applies to a 2001, but you may have to do a security relearn.

thanks for all your help, obviously need to get some sleep, checked over fuses and found TBC 10amp fuse blown, replaced fuse and truck started right up.
