So today seemed like a beatiful day (there was not a cloud in the sky) so i decided to go to wally world and pick up the Meguires clay bar kit and do my truck. So i got home and put soap in the bucket and then BOOM! lightning struck pretty close. And out of nowhere come these big, dark clouds over the trees. So I go inside and hurricane force winds start blowing and it starts hailing. I just love mother nature...dont you?

Man, we need some of that rain over this way. Haven't had any decent precip. in the last 6 weeks. Just a sprinkle here and there.

I'll take some of that rain ANY day. All we get here is wind from the storms that go north of us or south of us. Bring on the rain!

Except when I wash my truck, of course.

You can send some of that rain our way...hot and humid weather here. And mother nature was a real bitch last Friday as we had a hailstorm that rolled through town about 9:30 in the morning. The local paper said tennis ball sized-hail was the largest, but it was closer to softball-size on campus.

The truck rec'd 1/2 dozen dings on the hood and one on the roofline  ... but no windows knocked out like some vehicles on campus. Haven't had a chance to get insurance adjustment yet, probably next week will see if it's in excess of $500 deductable....
