Door Lock Actuator Failures

Just wondering how many folks have had their door lock actuators fail. Mine took a dump this morning at 10,075 miles.

I'm wondering if they are all from a certain plant or a certain set of VINs or more random. Would be nice for GM to let us know.

SOB my drivers side rear door actuator stopped working today. I don't want to deal with bringing it to the dealer again...

 

Where's Rich... i need him to look up the part number for me so I can do it myself (unless its insanely expensive that is!)

My actuators crapped out around 12,000 miles. Thankfully they replaced them under warranty, but it took damn near a week to get fixed. You're not alone bro. I definitely agree there's a possibility specific VIN numbers are at risk versus others.

I just had my drivers door actuator replaced ~24,000. made an appiontment took about 30 minutes. I'm hope this does not become a recurring issue.

both the driver and the back driver door crapped out at the same time...15,000K miles

I think it was around 18,000 miles for me both front driver and rear pass (PITA) crapped out on me. Warranty covered it took about a week for them to get the parts in. Dealer said it was happening alot and that is why the part for one side was on backorder at the time.
