I Hit A Boat

I was helping my new roommate move some stuff in Sunday and decided to stop at Jack in the Box with a full load in the truck. The drive thru was closed and blocked off so I had to back out. Using my mirrors I slowly tried to back into a spot but there was a truck parked there at just the right angle that I could see the truck parked there but couldn't tell that he was pulling his boat. Now I have to pay to fix his motor and I need a new tailgate. Worst part is as soon as we got done exhanging info the drive thru opened back up.

Yikes! Well at least it was just your tailgate. Your first strike was stopping at Jack in the Box Hope your food experience was better then mine.

Already told insurance that I was at fault. At least the guy wasn't hurt. He was in the boat at the time with his back to me getting something out of a cooler. Never saw me coming.

Took 30 mins to get my food and the order was messed up.

No camera sorry. Only knocked part of the fin off his motor. Fairly easy to get it welded back on.

I am sure he will want a new lower end assembly since you or your insurance company is paying. I certainly would.

Doubt it. He was about to just let it go thinking I was the only one to take damage. He noticed me looking at the fin and that's how he saw what was wrong. The brake was clean so it just made the fin a few inches shorter. Looked normal til he took a closer look.
