The truck looks great, wow what a shine. And I bet it smooth like silk. One question though: what is the valve for in the cab? Good job.

Hey, Jerry,

Truck looks great! I clayed/Nxt waxed my red 08 about half way last weekend. Then ran out of time and gas. Still have the roof and bed to do. Maybe this weekend.

Hey just a suggestion, you might put in an electric solinoid valve up where the horn is and power it with the orig horn wires.

i hear you on the running out of gas.... lol

I use to have the solenoid on the "shockers"

THESE...

But you cant control the highs / lows with a "open / close" solenoid... so i installed the manual "metering" train valve, and thats what you hear in the videos...

I still have the solenoid installed on the "psycho blasters" which is just a 2 horn setup tha i will be hooking up to my alarm soon....

L76powered-- Big horn edition because of the picture in this post :D listen to the vids above...

And ill just repost them here to make it easier...

Hornblasters shockers and psychoblasters!

Heres the whistle that i got off of some guy on ebay who makes them... Its made out of copper, has 4 flutes, i have no pics but got sound. next time i take my grill apart again i will get pics.

Heres a stock horn , psycho blasters , and shockers... The shockers are run off the the graham white metering valve clone...

These vids do absolutely no justice for the psychoblasters or the shockers! And all vids are taken from in the cab.

heres another weith great echos thanx to the metering valve..

Cool, I saw the big horn edition badge and it reminded me of a Dodge truck. Nice truck bro, I still like the GMT-800 bodystyle.

Truck looks good, what about painting the fittings grey to blend it in actually? Or better yet, make a cover for the whole kabob. :D

Well main reason i cant make a cover is as of right now the seat just clears all that when you slide it forward.... So if i were to make a cover it would definately hit . Plus i dont want to disguise the work too much , just want to make it look uniform... (b4 having the black valve / with copper / silver fittings / copper fittings . ....looks better now black) I like how it all turned out with the placement and ease of use to switch to the whistle or the hornblaster shockers... Sure it may not be show quality work ,but i would imagine i would win most original :D:D

Honestly the best thing about it is watching people eyes when they open the truck door and ask "what the hell is that" :D When i first installed it , i took my mom for a ride and she didnt even feel safe sitting next to it :D she thought it was a ejector seat or it was gonna blow up, lol... Now she messes with the handle and blasts the horn sometimes when i drive :D

Great looking truck! Good Job! though I would suggest you take your "Balls" off the back before someone kicks them, or snips them off :D

That being said, apparently rumor is people have been getting pulled over who have "balls" hanging from their vehicle and getting cited for some type of disorderly violation which has been holding up in court here in Colorado, so be careful!

:D

last that i heard they are illegal in florida.. havent heard anywhere else... Ive had them on for about 3 years it will be, and so far so good :D

as for someone kicking them, ive seen people do it when i had them hanging off the hitch.. although it was a friend that kicked em..

as for snipping , that wont happen... They are hard plastic, and have a 3/8 stainless clevis going thru... The clevis is "gorilla glued" also ... Held up by stainlesss chain. Dont want no rust on em :D
