My Truck Is Almost Done

As some of you may or may not know I have been trying to get funding for a wheelchair conversion for the last three years. They finally came through. Aside from small complaints like the huge home depot mirror they bolted to my led signal mirror. ( i like the function of seeing the right side of an intersection witout having to look over my shoulder, as i am strapped to the seat and cant if i wanted to) And the fact that they drilled mounting holes in my EC door and changed the mounting location of some stuff and left the holes I am pretty happy with the setup. I just could not be a minivan guy. Heres a link to the pics.pictures :( feedback is appreciated

That's a heck of set up there, not to be nosey, but how did you get into the wheelchair in the first place?

Cerebral palsy, been in a chair my whole life. Its not all that bad really i figure its better to have never had the ability to walk then to have had it and lost it

Come on now... what's wrong with a minivan? Is it the "mini" or the "van" part, or both together?

Seriously... cool setup!

That is awesome....

A couple years ago when i worked at homedepot , a guy was shopping in his wheelchair and i was helping him out thru the store... Came time to cash out and load up his stuff and as were walking outside i was looking around for the van, and he was going towards a brand new black silverado ss with a topper on the back! The thing was sick! So we were bs'ing about the truck and all and he says "watch this, this is my favorite part..."

So he gets his keys out pushes a button and the topper opened up to the side just like yours , and the arm came out picked him up, put him in the driver seat , and then the arm put the chair in the bed, and closed the topper! I was speechless! Ive never seen anything like that before and was amazed how it was all hidden so well in the SS!

Anyways, congratulations ! :(
