Bed Rail Protectors - Who's Got Em

Does anyone recommend BR protectors for my 09 Silvy? Do they typically install with doublesided tape and look cheap or are there some that fit well and won't shift and rub the paint off..

Thanks!

I have the GM protectors. I really like them, no shifting, easy install and they match the tailgate protector.

+1 on the GM version - pattern design matches the rear tail gate design - easy to install - does not move or shift - no holes drilled ,,

I'll be adding these to my Mod's list. Again do they just attach via double-sided tape?

Thanks!

Yep, double sided pressure sensitive tape.

These are DEE-ZEE #96176 that I got from Summit Racing for $83.90 delivered. They match the spray-in or roll-on bed coatings very well.100_0101.jpg

What style/brand of cover is on this truck? Do you like it? Does it keep water out? Did you notice an increase in MPG as some claim that you get? Any holes to drill to mount? How is it holding up to weather etc?

Thanks

Joe

ttt i want to know as well.

i am looking for a bedcover.. looks nice.

lemme know!

and i have a spray-in bedliner that goes over the bedrails.

not to threadjack, but it looks like someone sprayed it and then they sprayed some other stuff on there that makes it shiny, but they only sprayed it on the tailgate and then a little bit in the bed and half of it looks shiny. anyone have any idea what i'm talkin about? maybe like a sealant for a bedliner?

It is a TruXedo Lo Pro. I absolutely love it. Great fit and finish, life-time guarantee, and very easy to install/take off. No holes to drill.

It keeps weather out very well. With a really hard rain and the truck is just sitting outside you may get some seeping at the tailgate corners, but not much.

I have had a cover my last few trucks and I have never seen a mileage increase. I have seen a Mythbusters where they tested this theory and gave a reason. It has to do with a vortex that the bed makes that actually helps pull air over it or something like that. Doesn't matter, I will always have a bed cover and I have been very pleased with this one.
