I love the way your truck came out. I'm pretty much sold on Zone but I can't decide between 4.5" and 6". My fiancée is also short and we will be having kids in the (far) future. What was your MGP drop? I also have to think about my 70 mile round trip to work every day.  Also, what shop did you use? I'm in the Dallas area too

I appreciate it! I sent you a PM with more information.

Could i get away with running bilsteins on the loswest setting, which is around 0.75", on my zone 6.5" lift? Couldnt see it being an issue as its not even an inch. Im upgrading to bilsteins on all 4 corners so i figure i may as well squeeze a bit of lift out of them if i can.

Could you? Yes.
Do I think it’s a good idea? Definitely not.

Question for you guys with 4.5”+ lifts do you have any play in steering wheel? I have around 1/2” of free play in my steering wheel. Not that big of deal, truck still drives straight but want to know if I should take back to shop who installed it and ask if they could fix this. Or if someone could tell me the cause of this I’d appreciate it.

I know there has been a lot of discussion about what lift size to buy. I have a newborn, and a wife that is just 5 foot tall. So when we decided it was time to lift we both thought that going with the 4.5" lift was the way to go. After many hours of research and driving around to dealerships to crawl in and out of lifted trucks, we went with the Zone 6.5" (w/ Fox 2.0 shocks). To me, it is perfect. Even without steps (waiting to by Amp steps) it is manageable to get in and out, and putting my son in his a seat is actually in a better location than when just leveled. My truck could never fit in the garage due to length anyways, so that was never a concern.

Tires are 35x12.50 Toyo Open Country MT

I know that seeing all the trucks on here, and reading opinions helped me a ton. Hopefully this will help someone out at some point as well.

I appreciate! Now it’s time to meticulously finish off the exterior.

What kind of gas mileage are you getting with the lift and tire set up?

My last two tanks I have been getting 15.5, that is hand calculating. I usually get around 17 mpg according to the trucks mpg calculation. It took me a few tanks to figure it all out after getting the lift. I also starting using 89 octane when I lifted it, and the truck responded really well to it. I do mostly city driving/country roads with minimal traffic. My worst tank was 13.5 and it was my first full tank after the lift. My hope is that after a CAI and tune I can get to 16.5 mpg or so.

Side note, I drive like a grandpa. My wife makes fun of me.

Photos I attached are from yesterday. I’ve been able to get closer to those numbers on my round trip to work. That was driving 55 for the majority of the trip.

Alright, guys... here’s my question. I’ve read through quite a few pages and talked with multiple people. I’ve gotten mixed reviews. If I lift my truck, 4-6” not sure what yet, will it completely void the warranty?
