What annoys you about your truck?

I'm just wondering what all annoying problems your trucks have.

My list of complaints are as follows:

1. Wind noise at speeds above 55mph, the noise coming in through the door is rediculous.

2. The vibrating through the steering wheel when I hit pot holes or go down gravel roads.

3. The forward slant on the standard drivers seat, I feel like I'm sliding off the seat all the time.

4. I've got something vibrating under the car right after I start it up and it's annoying too.

i have always felt that the week point of my truck is the brakes. i just don't really like them. i have become used to them, but sometimes i feel like they are just not going to stop the d**n truck. :jester:

Wind noise,

Light blubs,

Peeling dash,

Slow windows,

Driver side seat don't stay adjusted (tilt),

Leaking front diff,

No rear fender liners,

No fourth door,

Crappy fog lights,

Crappy transmission,

Every automaker makes at least one V6 with more power than my V8,

Carpet,

Peeling steering wheel,

Dents,

Scratches.

But I stilll love my truck.

Forgot one.

Looking up to every other truck on the road.

On my '05..., just one complaint, and it has been with this design for a LONG time:

The emergency brake pedal. Sticks out too far. I'm always rubbing and hitting my left leg on it. It is very prominant to have such a limited role.

It bugs me because of its location, I have wondered what would happen if a wreck occured. If your leg flops a bit during a wreck, even a minor one, that emergency brake could cause some damage.

I think we discussed the E-brake hitting people in the shin a while back, and I remember thinking that I never hit my leg getting in and out.

It's because I set it every time the truck goes into park. Just a habit. Gets it right out of the way. :jester:

Accidents are another matter.

Door wind noise

I must agree the drivers seat is confortable but seems to tilt forward.

It also seems like I am sitting off center of the steering wheel.

I like this truck more than the 97 it replaced.

The steering wheel has been just a tad bit off center in just about every truck I have owned.

If you don't like it, don't ever sit behind the wheel of a full size van (Fords are the worst offenders IMO). They are waaaay off.

There is probably some engineering explanation for it.

:jester: Durn engineers, they have answers for everything, and usually that answer would make an exploding whale seem boring. :chevy:

Noisy engine/valvetrain (tick-tap-slap)

clunk when shifting

peeling dash

no rear fender liners (been wondering if the fender liners from a sport-side would fit?)

birds think it's a toilet, no matter where I park

What bugs me is that I bought a 2003 Z-71 Chevy extended/cab short bed, THEN they brought our the Z-71 in a crew cab. Jeez.

And then, Irymal gets the truck of my dreams. Double Jeez. :jester::chevy:

Seriously, I have absolutely NO complaint. It's teh mist perfect vehicle I've owned.

I'm very happy with my 04 rado ext cab/sb 4x4 5.3. Now the tundra it replaced was another story. And I had always been a toyota guy.
