Attempted to surprise the wife with a new mom ride for Christmas, discount tire ruined that surprise last Friday. She was still stoked and I'm happy with how it turned out. Only thing left that I'm planning is swapping the high country rims for the oem sgm wheels available on rst models/various others that are seemingly difficult to locate. Went with high country trim with zero additional packages (interior/exterior). The four must haves were 6.2l, 4x4, black exterior, brown interior. By far the nicest ride in the the stable. Did a chrome delete other than grill/tailgate and put on 275 nittos. Happy with how it's looking so far. Trying to figure out the upload, says file is too large2 points

Big test tomorrow. Leak was sealed at dealer using a glass company last week and it's actuality supposed to rain in SoCal Sunday and Monday.2 points

That's funny right there. Ford is having issues with the 10-speed transmissions they built, that are also being used in the Silverado. I've read there's something different about the valving for the transmission for the 2 companies, and both companies made their own valving. I'll take a leaky rear window over a bad transmission. I also find Ford trucks have an even cheaper quality interior than GMs. Ford isn't a quality product. Just look at the number of recalls they have. The 2020 Explorer has 10 recalls already. Yea. 75mph gets you about 24-25mpg. Pulls my 33' TT without issue. Rancho shocks suck. Replace them with Bilstein or Fox like I did.1 point

The 6.6 gas was developed for fleet customer. The 6.0 6 speed combo that it replaced was the lowest warranty powertrain in all of GM and GM wanted the 6.6 gas to be the same. I have had over 19k gooseneck on a 50 mile trip in Michigan without issue. I would recommend a 3500 to handle the higher pin weights of 5th wheels or GNs. The GVWs of 2500 and 3500 are both over 10k so it will be a CMV for you either way. #iworkforGM1 point

EVERYTHING is a negotiation in car sales, even rebates, incentives, etc..... have received incentives that i for sure did not qualify for......supplier, leasee, costco without ever qualifying.....so they have some tricks they can pull if motivated1 point

If I had money to burn and wanted a huge custom made lift I would be calling Bill Carlton at Ekstensive . Heavy duty comes to mind.[emoji3166] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk1 point

I'm not sure that you will find one because the inside filter diameter and flange is kind of unique to those filters. But maybe someone has done it. Your other option is to just get a dryflow filter that uses no oil. AEM sells several different filters. You just need to take measurements of the current one and match it up to something they offer.1 point

I had to laugh at what Ford wants for a 2021 F150. $50k you don’t even get leather seats. Prices for all brands of these trucks are insane really1 point

I have the same one, surprisingly good quality for the price and does the job, keeps everything dry and held up great last winter.1 point

I got mine as a dealer demo unit in white, not the colour I wanted but the discount made it possible for me to afford a Denali. I never even considered it before they suggested it and I'm extremely happy with it in spite of the colour. The same day I picked it up it started to snow and dumped over a foot over night. Turned out to be the best day ever to own a 4x4! No issues handling the snow and very comfortable with the heated seats and steering wheel. I've currently got the MyGMC app connected to look at diagnostics etc and at one point while my wife took it out for an errand (the RAV4 couldn't make it out of the driveway) it sent me text messages about ABS and Stabikitrak systems needing service. Turns out the snow was so deep that it filled up the wheels and got in the sensors which freaked them out. I cleaned out the wheels after she got back and it's back to normal. First time I've ever had a vehicle send me a text! The tailgate has been the best feature so far as it makes getting in and out of the bed so much easier. I've never had health issues but revelry I overdid it and my back isn't feeling good. That step makes life tolerable when I'm loading / unloading. One small item I would have left off if I was ordering is the under seat storage bin. It just gets in the way if you have anything sizeable to put on the floor in the back. I'm removing it today and trying life without it. It's nice to have something to look forward to. I hope you have a fantastic experience with your truck.1 point

I've only had mine for just over 2 weeks, but I think it's absolutely awesome. Wasn't planning on the 3.0 but after driving it, I was impressed with the ability to climb western Pennsylvania hills without lugging then downshifting just to keep up the speed. I was hooked. My last full size truck was a 2006 and this one is simply on a different level altogether.1 point

I don't think it's specifically for TB/AT4. It's just an updated 2.0 version of what you installed.1 point

I always deal with the Fleet manager or General manager if there is no fleet man - both are on salary vs commission. If you order and immediately take delivery of your vehicle then there is zero floor plan costs involved - the truck doesn't sit there being financed by the dealership. The incentives vary by month and that will affect your out the door price. Find out if your dealer accepts the Costco $1000 off certificate in addition to the factory incentives. There are other incentives, such as Supplier pricing, 1st responder/medical and GM employee pricing. I ordered my Sierra 2500HD SLT in September and took delivery right before Thanksgiving - got a 2021. My dealer had a hell of a time getting my truck allocated as most have already been spoken for. Good Luck and Happy Hunting!!! Can't say enough good things about Key Buick-GMC and General Manager Derek Archer and salesman "DW" in Jacksonville, FL. Parts department manager, Scott Berni, is great, too - ordered my accessories and used my 21,000 points from GMC Rewards and got 25% off for factory sale to boot!!! They beat any dealership throughout NE Florida and customer service was superb!!! Tell him Sam Michael sent you!!!1 point

I think you will find that the part numbers are not created with regards to the number it is replacing. When the technician calls the tech line to get an updated firmware it will include the newest version of each module.1 point
