  1. I know I asked before but didn't really get an answer. Can I do Fox coilovers at Factory height and then use a spacer to get my level? I assume fox's would improve ride quality greatly but if they are too compressed they'd be stiff. Using a spacer on them might be the best of both worlds
  2. I added you to one of my conversations that has pics of a double row bar behind a AT grille.
  3. How much level did you get out of the 5100's?
  4. I just ordered a pair of Rigid D2 Driving Lights to replace my factory Fog lights with. Can't wait to get them!
  5. Interesting grille... never seen that before. Nice truck!
  6. Has anyone leveled a truck with say a RC 2.5" kit and then upgraded the coilovers to a Fox or King brand? I understand that Fox and King are adjustable but I'm concerned that if I lift them too much, the ride will be too stiff. If I run a spacer and the Fox's on the factory setting, then I may get the best of both worlds? Make sense or am I completely wrong?
  7. How do you get this panel off? I just want to remove my 12V plugs and replace them with upfitter switches.
  8. I have the same truck and these are exactly the look I'm going for. I had considered 275/65 R20's but those 285's look killer. I'd love to measure the tires before I actually got them put on my truck to see if all KO2 285/65R20 are the same.
  9. I have noticed this a few times on my truck because I occasionally grab the steering wheel and turn it when getting out of my truck. It does seem to lock up a little quicker than other vehicles I have driven though. First time I ever experienced this was in my dads 1999 Dodge Ram when I was 16. I had parked and gotten back in to drive and the key wouldn't turn. I panicked haha. But just turning the wheel takes the pressure off the locking mechanism so the key is able to turn. It is 100% Normal but I can see how some people could have driven for a long time and never experienced it.
  10. I am averaging about 18mpg in my truck since the weather started getting nicer. I don't count winter mileage at all. That's about 75% city, 25% highway
  11. I'm starting to notice the seat movement issue very intermittently. Right now it only happens on one of about 50 hard left turns. It only started acting up in the warmer weather too. I'll just get the dealer to look after it on my next oil change. I've got a few rattles in my truck now too but can't figure out if its my golf clubs in the back seat or the truck haha. I guess there's an easy way to figure that one out.
  12. Personally I don't find the pedals in a different location that any other vehicle I've driven regularly. I have my pedals all the way to the bottom in my Sierra. I test drove a Ram Sport before buying my Sierra and even with adjustable pedals I couldn't get them to be comfortable. The top of my foot and ankle got sore during short trips because they were at a weird angle for me.
  13. For light bars behind the grille, has anyone considered using the Rigid Industries Cradle mount for a 30" bar? It looks like they are suppose to be mounted vertically but I don't see why it couldn't be mounted horizontally. This is what I'm talking about: http://www.rigidindustries.com/mounting-options/43010 The slots in this cradle mount could line up with the cross bracing in front of the Radiator. Only thing is I don't know how tall this mount is... Might not be enough room between the grille and the cross brace for it.
  14. My truck was an August 2014 Build and I have found that the frame is rusting where there were welds or joints. The flat surface of the frame itself seems to be holding up alright. I know it's just cosmetic and the frames not going to rust through and break but it sure is annoying.
  15. I really need to wash my truck and then take some half decent pictures that aren't in a parking lot. Then I'll post a couple. I wish we would've gotten a good dump of snow in one day this year. Pictures in fresh snow are always my favorite
  16. Started to notice rust on my frame lately as its spring and I'm starting to wash and clean my truck more often. It seems to be mostly on areas where it was welded. I don't even know if its worth the hassle of trying to get the dealership to fix it. They will likely just say it's because of the salt from the winter. Just another thought, I don't really care so much if the rust is only cosmetic and won't cause issues in the future. That being said, where I can see my frame in the rear wheel well is rusted, has anyone considered using a bedliner materials to cover just that area?
  17. This pic should be used in the brochures!
  18. Same here, except my dealer put a 6" x 10" sticker right below the 3rd brake light.
  19. Looks really good, might have to try that with mine this spring! I'm just wondering where you decided to make the cut line.
  20. Those are quite nice, they don't hang down too low to hinder ground clearance. They look very similar to the Ford Raptor factory boards.
  21. I took my valence off for the winter to get a little better ground clearance. I'm seriously considering putting it back on if I level the truck. Right now it looks alright but any higher I think it would look funny without the valence.
  22. I have an AT with my Air dam taken off, factory Molded flaps, and my step bars taken off. I've got a pic in the 2014 Pics thread to give you an idea. Its also my Avatar pic
  23. Truck looks really good. What level/tires are you running? I took the front air dam off my AT but I plan on levelling it in the future and I may put it back on. Such difficult decisions haha
  24. I see some Fox Coilovers in there... Which model did you go with? Are you only using the fox's for the level?
  25. Awesome! I think I'm going to go with a Rigid Curved 30" double row behind my AT grille. How much clearance do you have between the lightbar and the back of the grille?
