    Sadly more than likely gone for ever in american market . GM has convinced 98.9 % of population they do not want them. Four full doors dripping with all the candy inside and out. Keep the bed short so I can park it at store or mall. Big tires and a lift will make me feel much better too. Thank you GM marketing team I was in such turmoil about truck until you gave me some therapy. Now that my head is on straight i will take that Denali....

    There was a thread about coolant temps on gauge cluster here in about 2015. seems like someone reported with his mechanical gauge 210 on truck was really 198- 200 ran on aftermarket mechanical gauge.

    You can buy rubber poly spring liner in a 20 foot roll . it has lip on both sides to hold it in place on springs . It cost about 16 bucks a roll. speedway motors has it and I think summit racing may too.

    The heat was coming and they played their hand I would say. You can bet if not for safety they would have done nothing imo. GM seems to have this attitude if it isn't safety related and NHTSA will get involved then screw em. Right wrong or indifferent makes no difference it appears . Now about that AC condensor that is known for failure . LOL. Yeah I know it not safety related so its not GM problem they are junk ....its yours you bought it . Indeed I did.

    my understanding is no matter where you set controls it is a split of inside /outside air . 80/20 does sound familiar but not sure.

    many times with rebates you could get a double cab as cheap or cheaper than a rcsb equipped with the limited options offered. Then as we all know most everyone buying new wants at least a double cab at the very least for the xtra seating capacity and or storage . The secondary market also is demanding basically the same . It all helps keep ''trade in'' or resale value higher. Marketing and buying trends left the rcsb with a very small hand to play in a game stacked against it sadly.

    I think a very limited consumer interest and zero corporate interest killed the rcsb at GM. Ram is in change over mode for 19 so none their this year so I have been told. Pretty sure Ford is the only game in town for rcsb for 19.

    I did know they were tied into corporate mpg ratings and credits. Did not know that changed and they no longer count. No wonder they are getting axed like diseased elm trees.

    So he states about 5 years ago this engine came to light to make it efficient and fun to drive. Well I guess it does get 1 mpg more . Fun factor ? compared to what I guess.

    If that fluid film made its way inside boxed frame thru factory holes it will strip the coating off inside the boxed frame would assume .

    Looking more and more like rcsb is going going ......gone for 19 and more than likely beyond.

    On the just released build and price silverado it says regular cab long bed only.
