With what Rob said about the bad valve springs, that was for trucks built between June 2020 and, if I recall correctly, October 2020. My truck was built in the time frame. I have the 6.2 under my hood. I'm about to cross 16,000 miles on the odometer. No issues so far, and I've driven it across the country, literally from the Atlantic to the Pacific and just about every bit of elevation between from below sea level to over 7,000 feet above sea level, mostly on road with some offroading too. I'd definitely buy this truck with the same engine again.

Imo, it's not problem to be overly concerned about. GM will make it right. And, the 6.2 is a very old engine design based on the 5.3 that's been in GM trucks 20 to 30 years.

Cheap??? Are you choosing to sacrifice reliability or performance? Sacrifice reliability and it'll cost you more in the end. Sacrifice performance and your exhaust will sound like the trash it actually is. Reliability and performance are not synonymous with the word "cheap".

GM has a TSB on this, and it applies worldwide. Basically, they tell the dealer to order some shim washers and loctite from Fastenal and install on the left side to lift the cab and correct alignment.

You may want to ignore my previous post, or give it a try. It's up to you. However, I did just come across something else that may explain your issue. I stumbled upon this while for something else. It's TSB 20-NA-115. The remote antenna amplifier may have failed. One way to check is hold your remote against the door and see if it works. If so, it may be the RAA.

Did you touch the on/off button after turning off the truck and turn on the accessories power by accident?

Nope, but did you try placing it in the square bin between the front cup holders (or wherever the owners manual tells you to for your truck)?

This is the first vehicle I've ever done this with and I've been very happy about going with lasfit. Only situation I've had an issue with was one where I had read it would be an issue in the first place. I was in heavy traffic, left turn lane to get onto the freeway. On ramp was metered, and all 3 lanes were backed up. It took 4 light cycles to get through the back and onto the freeway on ramp. I had a police officer behind me, so I made sure to have my left turn signal the entire time. After the 3rd light cycle by turn signal went into hyperflash mode. I keep it on, though. I got onto the freeway, down the HOV lane, other freeway, etc. Next time I had to make a left turn, in that same trip, my left signal was back to normal flashing mode. The resistor built into the light just needed to cool down a moment. There doesn't appear to be any damage, and it has worked perfectly fine since. I would recommend Lasfit to anybody. And, I found them on Amazon.

Iirc, there is an air duct running near there that is different from vehicles that don't have wireless charging. It's possible there could be an issue with that air duct. I've torn into there before doing some custom work, and currently have the parts ordered to install wireless charging on my truck. I do believe an air duct was on that shopping list.

Both are turned on. Press button to turn off. Auto Start/Stop is defaulted to on from the factory. The switch for the plugs is defaulted to off in my truck. I assumed it was that way in all trucks. I've anyways be able to see lights when they are on, but no glow when they are off.

That's something my wife will never get to say. She PCS's every 3 years. She's a Naval Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse. Btw, I've had the GM Performance CAI and exhaust on my truck since week 1 of ownership. Over 15,000 miles and 12 months later, no issues to date. Trail Boss LT 6.2.

Isn't your truck a V6? How do you expect to get rock chips when you're so far behind a bicyclist could beat you? Also, aren't you in the wrong subforum? T1 trucks haven't been around for 7 years.

Is a tool necessary? Several years ago my tires got rotated, but the shop failed to fix it in the computer. I read the owner's manual and it said to inflate go through a procedure in the dash first, the adjust the air pressure in the tires on a specific order. It worked. Iirc, I let some air out until the horn honked. After the procedure was done I roller my tires to the correct psi. I didn't have a tpms test, and assumed they were expensive. I did have a 25 gallon air compressor and put that to good use.

If you know how to do it, you could always spray it in chrome paint. That's probably the cheaper way to go.

IMHO, I think you should pay close to what Army Guy is saying. He's dead on. Can your truck tow it? Yes. Can it tow it safely? Likely not. I knew based on what you were posting you either have a toy hauler or a 30'+ trailer. It's too much trailer for such a light truck. You're too close to some of your limits, and will likely go over on payload. Imo, I recommend looking at a slightly shorter trailer. A 26' trailer will be about 28'-29' total length, and drop a bunch of weight. Also, Army Guy brought up the point of the trailer acting like a giant sail. He's correct. The size of the trailer, with it being fairly empty, will catch a bit of wind blowing from the side and push your back end out. There are 2 things to consider to help with this. One is your load rating on your tires. Perhaps upgrading to a 10 ply tire would help? Another factor is how close together the axles on the trailer are to each other. When I was looking for a travel trailer one thing I learned about was how the further apart the axles are on the trailer the more stable the trailer will be when pushed on the side by wind. This was a deciding factor with my purchase. IMHO, the trailer you're looking at is best suited for a 2500.

Have you tried going to a website like gmpartsdirect and compared part numbers between the 2 trucks?

My experience with superchargers and intakes is that a CAI will make a supercharger whine louder. Is that the case here?
