Hey guys I am new to the forum and new to owning a chevorlet. A buddy of mine sold his toyota and gave me the bullet hole rims off of it and I was just making sure they would fit correctly I know the bolt battern is the same and the studs are a little bigger but with new lugs it should tighten down right? And I am looking to buy some new tires for my 03 z71 and was wondering if I could get some opinons on the Hankook Dynapro M/T and the Nitto Terra Grapplers A/T I put about 30,000 miles a year on a vehicle and am looking for something good in deer season and good for the highway also. Thanks

P.S. If I posted this in the wrong place would someone let me know and tell me where the correct area would be.

I got the Hankook Dynapro M/Ts. They are great in the mud, quite on the highway and overall i am very happy with them. Unfortunately i have no experience with the Nitto Terra Grapplers A/T, i have used the Nitto Mud Grapplers and they are amazing tires.

Yea I have a bunch of buddies who love their mud grapplers and they look awesome but i work for a insurance company riding takin pictures for them all over the state. They wont let me ride my bike there for I have to drive my Z71 and would ware a set of grapplers out QUICK. Thats why I am lookin at Dynapro's what do you think about the mileage wear on them. Thanks

Take a look at the Firestone Destination M/T. I have them on my 99 and they wear pretty well. A bit noisy, but they are mud tires. I used to get the Firestone Wilderness A/T until they discontinued them. I'd get 60,000+ miles out of them. I miss that tire. Just aggressive enough, but still reasonable on noise. They were the OEM tire.

I just bought a set of Firestone Destination A/T's.........not quite as agressive as the M/T but also not as noisy. Also I think they should last a little longer.

I do some deer hunting and will run them offroad a little......I think they will be fine.

I'm thinking about that Firestone Destination AT tire as well for some load range E tires for this 2008 1500. I really like the puncture resistance of the LR E tires.

+1 for the Destination A/T's. Researched multiple tires are these where highly recomended for tread wear, noise levels, and traction on and off the beaten path. Had them on the truck for about 2000km now and so far really impressed. low noise on the highway, lots of traction in wet weather and on loose gravel roads. Some mud experience and a relatively long haul across a partially flooded rocky road with no problems at all. If your primary purpose is road and want some security off road for weekend ventures I'd highly recommend these. I know it's not an M/T tire but for the price and performance the Destination A/T is a good tire as far as A/T's are concerned.
