Truxedo Warranty

Just wanted to give you guys a little info on the Truxedo warranty. I have noticed for quite some time that some stitches had worn off my cover in different spots, hey no big deal. Today however, I noticed that the Velcro on the vinyl side (top) was coming away in about a two inch section. So I got the phone number off the little badge, and gave them a call and asked what kind of warranty it has. Talked with a Michelle she told me LIFETIME to original owner, I had the cover put on in 05 when I bought the truck new. No nonsense, no trying to find a way of not replacing it, just Ok sir I’m going to fax you a sizing chart fill it our and fax it back. Told me it should arrive in a few days. I asked her; don’t you need to see pictures or anything? Nope she told me your all set. WOW, wish every company I bought things from where as confident in there products. Anyway, thought I would share that for anyone in the market for a tonneau cover would want to consider. Take care, Jake.

Glad to hear a company is standing behind their products. Congrats on the claim. I know what brand my next tonneau cover is gonna be now.

    • Im a fan.  Simply moving the screen up helps the look of the interior.  I feel like GM dropped the ball on the current gen having the screen not at the same level as the top of the gauge cluster.  The GMCs look better with the vents above the screen to close that gap.
    • I hear you, its just not something one would even think of that the new oil in the container isn't filtered to a spec one would expect it to be.    As to a passenger vehicle theme and the maintenance requirement to meet to ensure a warranty is honored, these days with claims of life time transmission fluid on some models and the limited amount of oil changes that would bring one to the end of the factory warranty, that sells vehicles for those that like to hear "easy care maintenance free", but the manufacturer certainly knows different as to what that more than likely means for the longevity of some of the components if given that minimum spec maintenance. Then again I imagine there are a fair number of people that really don't care as long the vehicle gets them a certain number of years down the road because they are the type that want the next new thing, new and improved ... more bells and crap etc on the new one on the show room floor. Manufacturers have learned the phycological game to entice the customer out of their money !
    • Why soooooo many screens? Shall we just replace the windshield with a large plasma?!?!? Besides that I like the looks. And they added back the additional door cubbies,    No SS???
