The Fast and the Furious

So last night,the wife and I decide to go out for a while for the first time in several months.

On our way to her resturaunt of choice,we drive past a movie theater and low and behold,here comes speed ricer himself.

He cuts around traffic in a no passing zone to try and get ahead of everyone on the freeway but he still got caught by a few cars,so I decided to follow him and get some pictures.

He apparently thinks I am trying to catch up to him to initiate a race so once we get past traffic,he decides to get in the right lane and slow down so he can teach me a lesson.

At 65 mph,he revs his engine and takes off,but ofcourse I wasn't about to let this one get away so I floor it as well and instantly start pulling away from him.

Now,I'm very well aware that there are foreign cars that will tear up even the F*** Lightning,but this one was ridiculous (see pics below).

 

 

Dude finally lets off at about 105 mph (I love the cutoff change provided by the Hypertech PP3) and I have between 3 & 4 lenghts on him.

I guess that movie gave him a little too much courage.

Hey,

Ya you see those kind of cars comming by here every long weekend!!!  And the more you see the ulgier they become!  You would think they could figure out that those 747 type wings and the coffee can exhausts are UUUUULLLLLGGGGYY!!!

Anyway the movie was great but they could have featured at least one or two nice domestic cars instead of all of them being ulgy jap scrap cars like the one above!  These guys are spending endless $$$$$ to get that performance where you could buy a vette or equivalent and be way better off!  Now i give them they would basically blow a vette away but you would have a way better looking car...

But the movie still gets at least 2 thumbs up for the rest of the movie!!

I saw on one of these sports channels once that people race hopped up riding lawnmowers and that's kind of what it sounded like.

Yeah,I was in the ZR2.It was by far the fastest that I've ever had it up to and it'll probably be a long time before it sees that speed again.
