I am buying plain steel wheels, nothing fancy. With the amount of salt that gets put on the roads, not worth killing a nice set like that.

JMHO.

Oh, BTW #2 is my vote.

I like the 20x9 mamba m4. Think those would look good on your truck. What kind of tires you going with?

I like #2 best for your vehicle.

I have a few questions.>>>>

#1.) What kind of finish is on those wheels and what makes them good for winter?????

#2.) I want 1 set of new wheels that will stay on my vehicle year round.....what is the best finish for year round use?

I am also considering a Mamba wheel and another chrome wheel from Ultra, what makes the mamba's good for winter or all year round?.

I know little about finishes any info greatly appreciated.

Thank in advance.

I like the second one as well. I just wish it didn't have NASCAR (or anything really) written on the lip.

My truck went thru 2 winters in upstate NY with Pro comp 7089's. They are flatblack in color. I would avoid any wheel that has shiny/polished areas. These are most likely coverd with a clear coat and chances are it will fail. My procomps don't have a mark on them and zero corrosion.

X2 on this. I have never found an aftermarket wheel that held up to winter conditions. Chrome wheels would peel and rust. The aluminum wheels would pit after the clear failed and that happened pretty quick. Have you considered just running the factory set for winter?
