Inside Door Handle 07 Silverado

Hi

Does anyone know how to remove the inside door handle from a 07 Silverado ext cab? The piece that holds the cable to unlock the door broke (pretty cheap metal part for a door handle) Got the door panel off, but looks like the inside door handle is sealed into place. Thank Shelk4me
