Trying To Decide Which Tires To Run...

We are picking up a NNBS crew cab sierra at the end of the month and installing a rancho 4" lift. I plan on running the stock 18" chromies with a set of Toyo M/T's, but am unsure of the size. Should I run 285/75-18's or 33x12.50-18's? Does either tire rub or require trimming? Which would look better? Any pics? Thanks for your help!

Bigger is always better (except with women..just my opinion)....I have 305/60-18's (33x12.5) on mine, with only a 2" level kit.

I think the 285's are equivalent to 35x11.5, but I am unsure with these trucks as to what matters more when it comes to rubbing. Is it width or diameter?

According to the rancho site that 4" was developed using a 315/70/17 tire on a 17x8 wheel with 5.5" of backspacing, which is a 34.5x12. You will need to figure out what your backspacing is on the wheels you want to use. Check this out

And I think that the 4" Rancho lift is really more like a 6" lift, if that matters to you at all.
