hey everyone,

im lookin to get a better sound out of my truck.

i currently have true duals with flowmasters and i just want them to be louder, but i do not want them to be over bearing like straits. is there any inbetween?

Straight through Glasspacks? The shorter ones are quieter.

Exactly which Flowmasters do you have? There are a dozen different series of mufflers, with many/most being on the quieter side, and a few on the loud and aggressive end. The part numbers are located on the rear end of the muffler body, engraved into the steel. Post that, and I can tell you which ones you have, and possible replacements.

thanks jbt, i looked and i think my man at the muffler shop got me! i found no part numbers on either muffler. there is nothing on them that indicates that they are even flow masters. i am lookin to go for a full stainless system. if i was to order a complete exhaust system would my truck being lifted efect how they fit at all? also do you guys have a particular manufacture.

If you want good quality and good sound, you can't beat Corsa or Magnaflow.

 

If you are worried about drone Corsa Sport. If you are not worried about drone, then the Magnaflow system cant be beat.

 

Both are high quality stainless and both have a lifetime warranty.
