Factory Remote Start

My 2008 Silverado has the remote start feature. It works fine... except. I also have the automatic comfort control system. The owners manual says when the remote start is used, the automatic comfort control will sense the outside temp and will bring on either the heater or the air conditioner. My comfort control system does NOT come on with the remote start. Once I enter the vehicle and insert the ignition key, the comfort system energizes.

Am I doing something wrong???

Try searching next time: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?...hl=remote+start

You just need to wait for the heater to warm up enough before the blower is turned on.

Is the automatic comfort control an option? I have remote start but have noticed the heater also never comes on. I have an LT not an LTZ which could be why

Yes, the Auto Climate control is an option on nonLTZ trucks. In you do not have the Auto control the truck stays set on what it was set when you shut it off.

For the leather seat heaters to come on it has to be below 50 degrees. Also with the Auto climat control the heater will not start blowing until the vehicle temp start to elevate so it is not blowing cold air.
