Wow... My Truck Does Fit In The Garage!

I never tried to fully fit my truck in the garage... kind of thought it would be impossible. But with this being the first major storm since i moved into the house I had some new found inspiration to try it

 

Fit like a glove!

You have more room in your garage then mine and mine is always garaged!!! I have like 4" between the door and rear bumper and 5" between the front bumper and the front wall.

Na, it'll only be garaged for snow storms. My wifes car is in the "workshop" area and I had to move out mountain bikes and recycle container inside the house.

 

Normally, my wifes car is parked where my truck is, and when its in there I have full access to my tools on the back and side walls.

A little cozy, but if it keeps you from having to clean it off, there you go. I know my last truck was a slight challenge for space with the guard on the front end.

My truck will likely never see a night in the garage...at least in mine. Even if it weren't full of woodworking tools I don't think it would fit.

Seems like the newer the house the smaller the garage. I kick myself for not adding the extension when I had it built. At least I really never have to worry about shoveling anything off of it.

I have no problem fitting the Vette's in them but I had to do some serious cleaning out of both my garages to get the Denali to fit. Damn that thing is big.

Yep, that's how it is! At least it sounds like you have a little bit of room. When I put mine in the garage, my front bumper has to be touching the wall and I only have like 4-5" between my rear bumper and the door!

My poor truck its stuck outside year round (so does the wifes car), not room for anything else in the garage besides 4 Kawasaki's and an arctic cat!

I find that if the garage is built by the contractor at the same time the house was built, unless there is a special request by the new owner, they are built too small. I guess there is land limitations too in some places.

 

I had mine built after the fact and it's 28x28. I still had to park my truck outside this summer, a friend has some stuff in storage. Now that it's gone, I did a good cleanup and I can park the truck, the car, the snow blower, my friend's ATV, and still have like 6 feet between the truck and the workbench.

 

My only regret is putting two 9x7' doors instead of two 10x8 doors.

My truck fits,.. but just fits.... I use a ball that hits the windshield to let me know when to stop and I have 2"-3" in the front and 2"-3" in the rear. Not much room for error. But it fits
