I don't think there is any lost space at all.

The bathroom having it's own outside door is great. Less traffic through the main area and it stays much cleaner that way. You can come in filthy using that door, shower and not have to clean the main area of the camper. Our last one did not have it's own door and I will never go back to not having one. Pretty sure at some point we will upgrade again and that door will be a must.

^^^ Thanks... I just wish they were all mine... The first one was our '85 Whaler Montauk 17' we sold last Memorial day and the last one is a 77' Mako 21' we own now. The big girl is a Judge 27' center console that belongs to two of my best friends (brothers) that I fish with all the time. It is a SWEET rig. She's pretty much 6k on the trailer with a full tower now.

TY! Just the idea of the door direct to the bathroom, as you mentioned is awesome eliminating traffic through the trailer.

My totally restored 1987 Chaparral 198XL and my 2004 Silverado Z71

Also tow a 2014 27' Skyline Nomad (about 7200#) which tows like a dream. Will post photos later.
