Daily Driver Or Weekend Warrior

Recommended Posts

I have a 4 dr car for my daily work schedule. Its hard to keep the truck at sleep in the garage. Cant wait for the weekend to get it out.

Reasons for my truck being a weekend warrior....

1. Saves Miles

2. Saves Gas

3. Always excited to get behind the wheel...feels like a new truck every friday night!

My old truck (2000) used to be that way since 04 when we had 3 vehicles. It was great my truck stayed clean all the time if I wanted. The deal for me to get a new truck was we had to go down to 2 (Silverado and Tahoe). Oh well the new one is much better than the old one and well worth giving up an extra vehicle. So my truck is a daily driver and weekend warrior. Hopefully soon it will be more of a warrior, I am working on buying a boat.

Same, I drive my civic to work m-thurs. Friday is casual so I take the truck. During the summer I switch back and forth between the car and my bike during the workweek. On the weekends when going out to eat or to town I take the truck..

Weekend warrior.....

reasons:

1. I take a bus to work anyways.

2. I have a 'daily' driver (buick lesabre)

3. Only use the truck for towing, activities such as scout camps, out of town

Daily warrior.

That actually works out better than I had hoped since I have to fight off all the idiot drivers.

Weekend warrior, my truck is work truck/dump truck/winter beater and will be my towrig in the future. For daily driver, my Altima V6 is fast, handles well, its cofortable, the fuel mileage is awesome and its a pleasure to drive, thats why it gets my nod for the daily driving.

Weekend warrior or for towing the enclosed trailer to do lawns for family. I drive Dad's old Lesabre most of the time since he passed away in 08.
