Wich Muffler Or Catback I Have To Buy ? Help

Hi guys ,

i have a LT TAHOE 08 4X4

and i wont to buy some good stuff exhaust , i looking for good sound and better throttle respond specially low end torque ...

i need a help

- do i have to buy a muffler or better i go with cat back ? and which one is the best

ive always cut the cats outta my truck so i couldnt tell yea about the cats. just run 3" into a magnaflow and 3" leaving out going to 4" tips. that will give you a deep rumble and some gain

You cant have both low end torque and a higher flowing muffler on an LS motor....without tuning

You get one or the other...the stock muffler provides better low end torque with a stock tuned truck.

A lot of guys here cut out they're mufflers and pop one back in its place for a better sound...as for the better muffler....you are going to get about as many opinions on this as there are mufflers out there.

Magnaflow, gibson, corsa, MBRP...these guys all make very nice cat back systems...if its just a muffler you want, Magnaflow is nice...little tamed for my liking though...I have a Flowmaster super 44...its loud. I also heard a sound clip here a few days ago from a guy that has no muffler....that also sounded really nice.

What is LS motor mean ??

Gen III and Gen IV small block chevy engines...from 99-present....all V8 engines in trucks (4.8L 5.3L 6.0L 6.2L) and sport car engines.
