Im too lazy to look it up.. but when i got my truck it had 36k miles.. it read like 3 for engine hours.. i wanted to make its actually resettable so no one tamped with it.. and how can I reset my MPG read out ?? its reading 10.8 and my hand calculations read much higher now..

I would also like to know how to reset engine hrs. although i dont think its possible.

You can't reset the engine hours. That is built into the BCM.

Do you have a button that looks like a little check mark some where (stearing wheel??)

If you do, go to the setting you want to reset. Then push and hold the check mark until it reset (a couple seconds).

The check mark button is right of the steering wheel in my truck.

If it is the truck in your sig (2006 2500HD) then you pull the MPG up with the steering wheel controls and then press and hold the lower right hand control button (cancel button) until it resets its self to 0. On the 07.5 and newer has the check mark to reset it either on the right hand or left hand side of the steering wheel depending on trim package.

The engine hours you cannot reset. If it had 3 hours on it when you got it, then it reset its self. Some of the 07 classic and older trucks would reset at startup.
