Bull Bar

i have seen all kinds of differnet bull bars out there and i have a specific question about them that i didn't find any answer to after many hours or searching and reading which i do all the time.

My question is, what brand name makes the bull bar that does not block the chevrolet emblem out front. I have seen many different pics and some bull bars are higher and some are lower, almost through the lower valence instead of tow hooks. has anybody experienced this with pics? i am trying to make a decision to get one or not, i do not want any bar to look "odd" and cover the emblem it just doesn't look right. I want it to flow with the front of the truck. Any info would help here thank you.

I own a blue granite metallic gmt-900 chev silverado.

Does anybody think it would look good black line-ex'd on the front>? suggestions

Id say Westin or Uu Guard like the one in my sig...make sure you get stainless steel one not one of the chrome plated ones...

Here is a westin one ... http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?...st&id=13982

I really like the bull bar in the linked pic. You don't happen to have a part number do you?

Here is the list of part numbers it depends on what size tube you want and if you want black or stainless... http://www.accessconnect.com/Westin_Bull_Bar.htm and the bull bar in the pic is part number 32-2270

I had a feeling it was westin and i searched their website and looked at the installation instructions for the "ultimate" and it stated you have to remove tow hooks and NOT replace them. The pic that you attached is awesome thats the one i want but the instructions don't match up. this is why i asked i am still a little confused. Are people modifying to lower the bar?

Im not too sure id assume that they could be modified but most of them involve to hook removal... I had installed a westing a couple of weeks back for a friend on his 2009 and his tow hooks also needed to be removed and u can have the bar higher or lower depending on how you mount the bar to the bracket... Sorry thats all i can say maybe someone else will chime in.
