My cousin is going shopping for a brand new GMT900 Sierra this weekend and im going with him. He wants to swap the dash lights out in the truck he gets for the Blue ones in the LTZ. He wanted me to see if anyone has done this, and how hard it was to pull off.

i'm pretty sure the LTZ are green just like everyone else.

i've seen videos of them with custom gauges with blue needles:

i think this dash is perfect looking. the comments say that they are cadillac escalade gauges, but i'm not sure.

another comment says it's a street scene grille.. you're more than welcome to look around on their page:

good luck.

Hmmm to tell you the truth I really have no idea either. Ive seen the inside of an LTZ on the internet and the lights were Blue, but other than that Ive never seen it before. Yes GMT900.

There are photos out there that show blue lighting, I think in reality they are green though. Seems the trucks were designed to be blue, all the original press material shows blue, I guess it was a last minute change to green, a very dated and ugly green, I might add. I was really hoping the 2010 or 2011, changed this but doesn't seem to be so. Cadillac GMT-900's ARE blue, so it could be swapped over, expensive, but could be done.

FYI,

They are all LED's on a circuit board, they are not like the old clusters that had bulbs in sockets that could easily changed.

Green here as well.

All the lights on the steering wheel, door switches, dash, HVAC, overhead console and radio are all green.

Would be a *$#@*? to change them all to a different color.

A little desoldering braid and fresh solder are all you need aside from the different color LEDs to make that change. No big deal.

Just make sure you are pretty good at soldering. Those things are tiny. Also, I replaced one LED with blue because I wanted it to stand out if I left it on and could not find a straight replacement LED. Had to go with something a little bigger and a different resistor.
