Warn Trans4mer Question

I have an 01 z71 and I just got a used warn trans4mer and was wondering if I need to get a winch carrier to mount the winch to the trans4mer? Can I just mount the winch directly to the trans4mer?

  I pulled equipment with different trucks and trailer set ups for 1 million miles in my lifetime. Even little uhaul bumper trailers. Then there’s the campers fifth wheel and slide ins of various sizes. And of course today’s service trucks and equipment. With the modern high horse power torque rated trucks I feel it there. So I’m figuring most I can’t tell it’s there statements are a slight embellishment. If you can’t tell it’s there maybe the driving should be left to someone else. Otherwise in my travels I give a wide berth as usual. Recreational drivers especially pulling camper’s. Most especially bumper pulling isn’t for the faint of heart. No matter the set up.
