Welp another new guy here. Found this group researching for some info. My 06 GMC Sierra is my everyday work & play truck. I bought her base and now am putting in all the goodies. I just upgraded the seats to a center console set up in the front and love it!! Yeah I'll miss hauling 6 people around the country 1 time a year but comfort comes with a price I hear!!! And, thank god I paid that debt off early this year

 

Thanks to all the guys who have been posting VERY helpful info so far!! Next I'm going to give the steering wheel controls a go and add those in for giggles.

Found some pics of my old truck, Pwall yours reminded me of my old one, 1ton Crew 4x4 98 model was a freakin road beast!!

 

 

and my new baby needed the cab for the family but NOT the massive fuel tank. Went from 7.4 to 4.8 My get up and go left with my old truck, but it'll save on speeding tix I guess.

 

 

And yes the brushguard on my new one isn't the right one, I got it fabbed up before my trip to Florida. I'm not ready to part with another grand for chrome yet
