I have the 16 inch chrome plated/ plastic cover rime and i need to know the offset so i can look for new rims and tires.. I dont want rock chips so im looking to keep the offset almost the same. Any suggestions or pics of rime for my truck would be great and no its not lifted or level it completely stock.

Thanks Brandon

I think somewhere around +30 on most 16s. Something to keep in mind when buying new wheels is that most (if not all) will be wider than stock, which will move the tire out some even if the offset is the same. 16x8 inch wheels with a +25mm or more offset work great on those trucks.

Anyone know what the stock offset is on the 2007 nbs sierra? The rims are 17's, and I have all terrains on them (285/70r/17). I am looking to go with a 16' rim instead so I can gain that other inch in tire size , beefier look. I would like to widen the stance of the truck, so I want the tires to stick out past the fender wells roughly 2inches or a little less.

What is the biggest tire (heighth/width) I could go with for this set up, and what would be the details on the rim I would need (offset/width)

Any pics too?/

Thanks guys

Factory backspacing:

17x7.5= +31mm offset(5.5" or 139mm)

18x8= +31mm offset(5.7" or 145mm)

20x8.5= +31mm offset(5.9" or 150mm)

Andrew, 17" is the smallest you can go on your truck.
