Enjoyed The Nice Weather

I got bored yesterday and decided to take advantage of the nice day and embarrass myself via picture taking ability  These are just some random pictures of my truck around where I live. Nothing too exciting. The newest additions (that you can see from the pictures) since I last posted pics are the CB and whips and some anti-Ford/pro-Chevy stickers on the back  . One of the skidplates is missing from the front because I was in the process of stripping and re-painting it. The plastic half of the front bumper was removed because the hillbilly in me couldn't stay away from the enormous snow piles in large parking lots and it almost ripped off a few times. I'll give an e-cookie to anyone from my area who can tell me where these pics were taken... Lol enjoy!

This one almost got my ass kicked by some angry drunk guy who thought I was planning on stealing his truck later... My truck is dirty here because I made the rookie mistake of believing that just because the dirt looks dry on top... Yea.

One of the RARE times my truck makes it into O/D. I was excited.

I'm looking to get into photography a little more. I've already started playing with Photoshop and it makes me go :flag: . Any advice from some of you more experienced photographers would be appreciated. All of these pictures were taken with a borrowed Nikon D60.

Thats the first time I have seen that truck without mud all over it :shakehead::nono::bs: .

Looks good!

Thanks! Haha yea my old man always tells me that I should try to go a week without getting it dirty. I tell him that if I'm going to get 8 MPG, I'm gonna enjoy doing it. Otherwise I'd drive a car. :)

FLAT LANDER!!!.......i'm jk what do you use on your dash and guages? i'll wipe my down and the dust just comes back in a week

The dash just gets wiped down on occasion with a damp rag and the gauge faceplate just gets some glass cleaner every now and then. I have the same issue with keeping it clean. I've just learned to ignore the dust.

Same here. We hit 70 on Thursday and Friday, and then it snowed on Saturday and Sunday. Nothing really stuck, but it was enough to be annoying.

thats a really nice lookin truck.. what kind of anntenna mounts are you using?

Thanks! They are actually the mounts for the old style truck mirrors where the mirror bar would get "clamped" in between the pieces of the bracket. I just drilled 4 holes and put half of the bracket inside the stake pocket and the business half on the bedside side of the stake pocket. The hardest part was getting the coax through the bottom of the bed. My holesaw wasn't doing the job so I resorted to the sawzall. It isn't pretty when you look into the bed, but it looks nice when I drive by :) Lol I'll get some pics up since my description was pretty lame.

What were you trying to accomplish in Photoshop?

Nothing in particular with these pictures. I have the basics down, but it seems like every time I play with Photoshop I find 100 new tools to use. Lol
