Biggest And Widest Tire On Stock Rims

I was wondering what is the biggest and or widest tire I could run on 02 Silverado ext cab 4x4 with the stock 16" rims. Tires I have on are 265/75/16 for now and i'm looking to upgrade but money is a bit of a issue so I will have to pass on the new wheel. I wasnt able to find information on my rims, like how width they are, offset... I was thinking 285/75/16, 305/70/16...34-35" (dont know how width) would be awesome but i dont think it doable without putting in jeopardy the tires itself...

 

I will lift the truck, trims accordingly to what its needed and wheel spacer if necessary. I believe the rims will come in play before the clearance needed to fit them.

I run 285's on my 03 with no lift and no rubbing (stock wheels), I have a friend that runs 305's with just a slight T-Bar crank with no issues.

my brother had a 98 Z71 with 305/70-16's on stcok wheels, with bars cranked and not alot of rubbing.

Nice, thanks for the infos guys! I think I will go with 305 70, as they are wider than 285 75 but still have the same overall height
