Fuel Milage Difference From 4spd To 6 Spd Tranny

Hey guys, thinking of trading in my 08 sierra 5.3 for a '10 or '11 and was just wondering if anyone has any input on performance or fuel mileage gains going from the 4 spd to the 6 spd.
