Door Molding Removal

So as you know, the molding are a different color than the truck, I am very anal and they are driving me crazy.

There is a tow truck company around my way that has all 2500 chevy trucks, he has removed the moldings and it looks super clean.

 

I know Im risking dents from assholes in parking lots and what not, but I usually park as far as possible.

I would like to see some pictures of trucks that are clean with no moldings.

Do you have any better pictures?

Was there a different in color on the doors when you removed them?

anything to look for?

 

I will have a local detailing place do it for me and than go to work on the whole truck

Why don't you post some........ The molding is probably stuck on with some double stick tape....

 

Providing it is it is really easy to get off and clean up after you get it off...

I havent removed them yet, Looking for pictures and feedback first.

Doesn't take all that much imagination to "see" a truck with a molding gone.

 

BUT!

 

I realize this is a rather big step on a truck you paid damn good money for. How about posting a picture of your truck and letting one of us photoshop the moldings off of it? That's probably your best real shot.

Good God how complicated can this be? If you don't like your truck with moldings just use some fishing line & remove them. If you still don't like it, trade it in.
