What size lift and what brand?

I went with the NEW redesigned rough country 3" kits, thats what they told me on the phone anyway. My friend

has installed a pot load of these and when he did mine he said this kit looked different to him. Made me feel better

about putting it on because of everybody elses kit..Haha I love it looks good drives good already has 3000 miles

on it. Hoping the tires fit without too much cutting! Jump that bridge when it gets time. Get lots of compliments!!

We measured before and after and subtracted the two and numbers up front were 3.5". Just my 2 cents, the back

could use another inch, if I haul much with it...??... 1st truck i've had for 5 years so i'm not used to hauling anything.

"Rough Country 3 inch kit!" Here we go again... Maybe, just maybe you will have better luck than most people that have tried it.

Not too sure you can really redesign a turd, but the truck looks good none-the-less. So far I haven't heard of anyone not having a problem with that kit. Hopefully you will be the first.

The 3 common problems i've heard about:

1) Balljoints fail really quick

2) Kit doesn't align correctly

3) UCA's make contact with coil springs while driving

It looks really high, you should get some better rims than those hubcap 20's. It will look way better with another set of rims & tires.

I was talking with my installer(friend) he said that if you ordered the kit with the optional upgraded a arms they are junk. These a arms got pressed with a horribly bad batch of ball joints. Which rough country admitted to. As far as the kit lining up mine couldn't have been better, and upper a arms contacting the springs I think you would have to be doing some serious offroading. Which I will not be doing. 3000 miles on kit so far, I will have to keep you posted! Thanks to everyone for the comments!!

The truck looks great. Not a fan of rough country. Lots of problems out there. I would of chose BDS. But you know what, its your truck. Again, looks great and enjoy.

So far I have not had any issues with my RC 3" kit and I went with the upgraded arms and greasable ball joints, but I only have around 12K miles on it so far, problems may show up later.

Oh and no alignment issues or coil spring contact.
