Outside Door Moldings

I finally have the time to debadge my truck the weekend. What do you guys think of removing the outside moldings on the doors as well. I kinda think it would make the truck very clean looking. Any body have this done and have some pictures to show. Thanks!!

I think it just exposes the sides to door dings! My vote is to keep them... They look too plain and slab sided without.

I removed the moldings on my '08 Silverado when I had the custom paint done... it looked really clean but like Zembonez said, you wont have that protection from door dings.

Mine didn't come with moldings. I wish it had! So far no dings but I am a boonie parker.

I have been thinking of doing the same thing. It seems like the moldings are slightly a different color than the doors. If you decide to take them off be sure to get an eraser wheel to make easy work of the black adhesive.

I plan on removing mine, I think it will be a big improvement.

I ve seen GMT 900s where they were removed and I thought the doors are too big and flat and didn t look good without the moldings.
