The 295/70/18 tires are 34.25" in diameter. I am pretty sure you would have a significant rubbing issue with only a 2" level. I don't think the 3" body lift buys you any clearance for tires. My 285/65/18 (32.6 dia.) Terra Grapplers just clear without rubbing. A 33" diameter tire is gonna be about your limit without doing some triming.

The body lift will most definately provide clearance. Hence their purpose. Those tires should fit nicely without any trimming. They are only 11.61" wide which will make for a nice fit on the 8" wide stockers.

The body lift will most definately provide clearance.

I guess I stand corrected!! However, since the Zone Offroad Products website (Zone 3" BL Web Page) states "Max tire size: 33 x 12.50", you might want to get a few more opinions before spending your money on tires! Maybe the addition of the leveling kit gives you the extra clearance. I am sure Blackout07 has more experience with this than I do!!

Hopefully, someone with the exact set-up that you are planning to do will step in and confirm this for you!!

Good luck!!

I am looking at this same size tire for my truck when i get my lift put on. Because of pricing, i think I may go with the Terra Grappler ones b/c they have them listed at $215 each from tirebuyer.com. I couldn't believe it when I saw their price for this tire/ they usually run around $250 each everywhere else (or more).

So, I would check out tirebuyer's website to look and compare the price of the Trail Grappler's and try and get a price match at your local shop if the price is cheaper.

they will fit.. look at my pic there 285/75/16 (32.8) with maybe one inch raise in the front.

no rubbing, they didnt rub even before the new keys, its the width you have to watch.

if it was a 305 vs the 285 they would rub.

i like the 295/70/18

Easy with all of those exclamations...Mark. Don't turn into He-Man.

With 5" of total lift, he will be able to comfortably fit those tires. I ran that exact lift setup with 305/55/20's (33.21 x 12.01) on aftermarket wheels with no issues as are several others around here. The size difference between the tires I ran and what he wants to run is not much and the use of the stockers will ease the fitment. If any trimming is required it shouldn't be much. Op if you are in doubt, get a test fit.

He-Man punctuates with force!! Can't spell worth a crap though!!!

It is a bad habit of mine to use a lot of exclamations. Sometimes when I go back and read what I've posted it looks like I am YELLING!! So....SORRY!!!....I didn't mean to YELL at you!!

Lesson learned.....rookie suspension guys shouldn't offer opinions in suspension related threads. :rollin:

    • From what I gather, you have a 2.7 Diesel  You cannot use Chevron gas in it.  Howes has a diesel add-in and it states it cleans injectors.  Me personally, wouldn't bother with it.  If it's not broke, don't fix it.     Just my two cents worth.
    • Looking up on the web you can the information that would seem obvious. You asked engine components to do more. You get more wear. The answer is they can last just as long but required more maintenance. Apparently having to change lifters, cam and associated components are maintenance or repairs. In some research the normal life span of valve train components are 80-100 miles with 3-5K miles oil change. So the next logical conclusion would be cost per mile. I use that analogy with my wife all the time with vehicles. My Odyssey is approaching 170K. The cost per mile will go up at 200K with maintenance. Looking at a low cost car. A K-4 with a 10-10 warranty. Selling my Ridgeline that’s about to hit the same maintenance milestone. My argument becomes not only I get worry free driving. But at no cost increases. Because I take the money from my Ridgeline and maintenance savings and other potential savings. I’m driving for free. So tying it with a bow. It makes you wonder. Is this a grand conspiracy by the auto makers? Raise the potential maintenance high enough. Buyers by extended warranty to 100K miles. Do the minimum maintenance required. Trade in at the warranty end. How long should they last? That question is what keeps people up at night. The answer is much more complicated than it used to be.
    • Could you cite your source on this?  I cannot find any reference to the US secretly taking the oil.  I find references that the US helped oil tankers move through the Strait of Hormuz, but nothing about what you're stating.
    • Same thought, also the everything doesn't have the details real photos do (talking about the noise in the photo)
    • Since the media YOU and your buddies are programmed to watch failed to mention this, I'll fill you in.   Trump admitted today that we've grabbed 150 MILLION barrels of oil from the Iranian tankers locked in the Strait by our Navy. We turned off their transponders, took them out to sea in the dark of night since they have zero radar capabilities anymore, offloaded every drop onto another vessel, and put them back by morning so no one was the wiser. That oil has been en-route THROUGHOUT the entire conflict.   Main reason he admitted this is to let even guys on our own side who joined leftists in complaining about the prices that he hears us all, and has taken steps to make sure this didn't spiral into a BAD situation ... just like the mainstream media has been PRAYING would happen, just so they could gloat. Amazes me how these people are rooting for the destruction of THEIR OWN HOME, just to make a President they don't agree with or like look bad! That's next level TDS!   I know your not capable of giving our President the benefit of the doubt, again due to your deep programming, but THIS is why oil never hit $150 a barrel as predicted by your programmers, AND the reason oil continues falling. Like I said before, Trump's got a plan, and this is proof of it. By the end of his term, we're going to be in GREAT shape for a change!   Since I just spent $3,000 this week on #2 heating oil and gasoline, the war most certainly is ending! 🤣   https://mxmnews.com/article/ba359ac9-2711-4851-92de-187f2400f2dd?breaking-trump-cancels-iran-strikes-deal-now-approved-by-all-parties
