Got the line-x today and it came out good. Well except that they sprayed over those rectangular plastic caps that run along the sides and the front end of the bed. Which leads me to my next question. What are those caps for anyways? Are they just used as mounting points?

Looks good! I'm thinking about getting one sometime. How much did it set you back?

I can't tell from the pic, did you have it come up on the top of the sides (like where bed rails would go)?

Those caps are for a cargo management system you can get from GM. The guy that sprayed mine told me he could take them out, or spray over them. He said 99% of folks never use them, so most spray over them.

I chose to spray over them. Your bed looks great!

Price: I paid the guy 500 bills for doing mine, and 2 racks and the front bumper of my ATV, so I am guessing 400 for the truck bed.

Thanks! I paid $550 which I thought was pretty damn expensive. Tried another place that does rhino liner but they required that I leave the truck over night and drive around with the tailgate down for another 24 hours and they wanted $525. These were the only two places in my area so there really wasnt much competition. With the line-x, I dropped it off at 8am and it was ready to go by 3pm and I like the line-x look better. Well Im glad to hear that those holes arent to important then as I do not have nor intend to have the cargo management system

Its definitely a high price but I didnt really have any other option. And that was under the rails to since I have the factory bed rail protectors. They did spray the top of the bed at the cross section right at the cab.

I had Rhino Lining in my last truck and the line-x in my new truck looks way nicer. They even managed to leave the drain holes open. They told me to pull the cargo management caps I did not want sprayed over before I took it in. I have cargo hooks that fit in the holes perfectly so I left some open.

nothing beats linex.. let us know how it holds up!

For $550 it better hold up well!! Which I know it will. Lifetime warranties are always a good feeling

You got it done in Marlborough, right? How was your overall experience there?

you are correct. on south street across from 495 truck center. I mean, it was easy.. I went and dropped it off and returned a few hours later to pick it up. My only grudge was that they told me to drop it off at 8am. So I figured I would go and meet the person and go over a few things and then be on my way. I showed up at 8am and they were closed. They dont open until 9am. I had to get to work so I couldnt hang around but luckily there was a guy in there to take my key though not the guy that handles the line-x spray so he didnt really seem eager to answer my questions about the process. I went back around 4 to pick it up since they close at 5. Met the guy who does the spray and he was nice and explained what they did and went over the process with me. Checked my truck for any scratches dings or dents and found nothing and I was on my way.

So yeah

negatives

9-5 shop hours

expensive price (though seems to be the average around this area)

covered a couple of the drain holes with the spray

positives

friendly and informative staff (when they are there)

location

quality work

and most important, no scratches, dings, dents or over spray!
